What does this converter do?

It combines RIS files from Zotero, Scopus, EndNote, Mendeley, and other sources and writes a single Web of Science plain text (.txt) file in Clarivate tagged format (FN/VR, PT, AU, TI, SO, and related tags). This file may then be used in tools such as Bibliometrix and VOSviewer.

Is this tool free?

Yes. Researcher's Friend is free to use. You can convert up to 5 files and 50,000 citations per job.

Which files can I upload?

RIS (.ris) from Zotero, Scopus, EndNote, Mendeley, and other reference managers or databases. EndNote RefMan (RIS) Export files saved as .txt are accepted without renaming.
